As if 2013 wasn’t
already shaping up to be one of the best years for Japanese music
here in the UK, now PERFUME, one of the most popular pop trios to
come out of Japan, have announced they will be making their way to
Europe for performances in Cologne, London and Paris for the 2nd
part of their world tour that kicked off in Asia back in October
2012!
Over the years the
Hiroshima girls have managed to take Japan by storm with their acute
fashion sense and techno pop style, but for the most part the group never stepped far out of Japan. This was all about to change as
in March 2012 their plan for world domination started to come into
play with the release of their 3rd studio album ‘JPN’ in
50 countries via iTunes (which also happened to be Japan’s 24th
best-selling album of 2011 with a total of 268,414 copies sold) and
the start of their official global website.
Now they plan to show
what they’ve got to the European crowd with shows that are sure to be
some of the biggest highlights of 2013!
Tickets for their Paris
show are on sale now, London tickets will go on sale April 14th,
and Cologne April 15th. Be sure to get in there fast; we
predict they won’t stick around for long!

UPDATE:
After selling out their London show within a day of tickets going on sale, Perfume have now been upgraded to the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire! Don’t worry if you’ve already purchased your tickets, they will still be valid.
