From the European release of his new album, to an
appearance in Hollywood war drama ‘Unbroken’, 2014 is shaping up to
be one of the biggest years everyone’s favourite guitar samurai, at
least as far as international press goes. Now in under a month’s
time, MIYAVI will be taking to the stage at London’s prestigious
Shepherd’s Bush Empire as part of his SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014 where
fans will once again get the chance to witness one of the most
outstanding solo performances Japan has to offer.
Last year MIYAVI made an appearance at fashion
outlet Browns’ London flagship store for a private acoustic session,
but it’s been three years since his last plugged in performance at
the HMV Forum for his ‘What’s My Name?’ world tour.
With the new album showing a change of direction
for Japan’s number one guitarist, expect many surprises from what’s
surely to be a big highlight of 2014.
