SHIMA are a happy-go-lucky punk rock foursome formed in 2009 hailing from the city of Kitakyushu. Earlier this month they dropped their long-awaited 2nd mini-album ‘SHIMA ADDICTION’, their first release since transferring over to CAFFEINE BOMB RECORDS at the beginning of 2015.
In the past they have supported many of Japan’s top underground hardcore, rock and metal acts including UK mainstayers CROSSFAITH, and on June 20th SHIMA will join the likes of Coldrain, FACT, Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas and many more as they open for PIZZA OF DEATH RECORDS’ SATANIC CARNIVAL at Makuhari Messe. If you’re a fan of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE‘s frantic style and the melodic hardcore styling of HEY-SMITH, then these guys might just be the new addition to your music library you were looking for.
