Next month the new instalment in action spy series Mission Impossible, ‘Rogue Nation’, hits cinemas across the UK, but despite having the bragging rights of getting to see it on the big screen a little over a week sooner, Japanese movie goers will get a nationwide exclusive rendition of the iconic theme by none other than rock sensation MIYAVI.
In 2011 legendary guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei took on the theme for the release of ‘Ghost Protocol’ which has become a staple in his live performances. Now MIYAVI will step up to the plate to add his own twist to one of the biggest movie/TV series themes of the last 49 years.
Alongside this news MIYAVI announced he’ll be returning to Europe this September for the EU leg of his “WE ARE THE OTHERS” 2015 tour. The tour kicks off on the 27th at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire and will take Japan’s guitar hero to France, Italy, Finland and more. Click here for more information.
