FOR FANS OF: No Use for a Name, Jimmy Eat World, Hi-STANDARD

Tokyo grown pop punk unit FOR A REASON are preparing to release their long-awaited self-titled 2nd album this November- the band’s first release in nearly 6 years.

Forming in Tokyo back in 2002, FOR A REASON made their album debut in 2009 with ‘MAPS AND MAZES’, with a sound akin to punk rock legends from both Japan and the west. In 2014 the band played alongside YOUR DEMISE during the Japan leg of the St Albans lads farewell tour, and in the last half of 2015 the band has slowly but surely been making their come back playing support, scoring festival slots, and dropping two new videos.

The new LP boasts a stellar line-up of guest performances from some of the most powerful pop punk and hardcore bands on the scene including Crystal Lake frontman Ryo, Daihei from Cleave, Senta from NUMB, as well as Ned and Jamie of Pennsylvania unit Title Fight, and Martin Kirby of Melbourne post hardcore troop Carpathian.

FOR A REASON releases on November 4th via CAFFEINE BOMB RECORDS and is now available for pre-order from CDJapan.co.jp.
