London based underground rock outfit Esprit D’Air have announced they’ll be returning for a one off headline performance at East London charity event Origami at The Pipeline on March 12th.

Forming back in 2010, and making their last live appearance in 2013, Esprit D’Air accumulated a cult following with their fuse of hard-hitting aggression, melodic interludes and blistering guitar solos that drew comparisons with rock legends X Japan.

2016 marks the 5th anniversary of the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami that devastated the Tohoku region, as well as the ongoing Fukushima nuclear disaster that has misplaced thousands. The relief effort continues to this day, helping give families food and shelter, and piecing their lives back together.

Hosted by Japanese street kitchen Peko Peko, the event will raise funds for Aoba-gakuen, an orphanage located in Fukushima that provides care and activities for children in the area. For more information check out the official event page.
