Japanese instrumental rock legends MONO kick off their European co-headline tour with French shoegaze troupe Alcest this November.

Formed in 1999, MONO are highly regarded for going beyond the constraints of rock music, creating a dynamic and other-worldly sound that blends orchestral arrangements with shoegaze guitar noise. As part of their massive, almost annual, European tour, MONO will take to 37 stages across Europe, kicking off the 9 show UK leg of the tour in Southampton on November 9th, and wrapping up at London’s Electric Brixton on the 17th.

Earlier this month the band released their 9th album Requiem For Hell. Inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, the album delves into everything that has driven the band to this point, consolidating everything from love and loss to faith and hopelessness into the one universal inevitablity in life: birth, and death.
