CRAZY N’ SANE, Japan’s mysterious nu-metal septet. Gimmicky side project, or the next band to ride the wave of the nu-metal resurgence?

In the last month this rabbit masked unit have seemingly come out of nowhere. First appearing on the line-up for this year’s KNOTFEST JAPAN, not much (if anything) is known about the band, and the release of their debut self-titled single on September 12th has only raised more questions.

All we know is that on November 2nd, four days before their KNOTFEST performance, CRAZY N’ SANE will drop their 5-track launch EP This Mess, but for now, just like with Slipknot back in the day, we’re left playing the guessing game of who’s behind those masks. If we had to take one guess, maybe label brothers and fellow KNOTFEST attendees HER NAME IN BLOOD have something to do with it.
