at ONE, the debut EP by Anna Takeuchi, might just be one of the best chill singer-songwriter records of the year.
Born in LA, raised in Kyoto, and influenced by the sounds of the 70’s and 80’s, Anna started writing songs from a young age, coming up with the EP’s opening track Ordinary days when she was 15. At 20 years old Anna is currently pursuing her music career while still in college.
Featuring 3 original tracks by the young up-and-comer, the EP also includes a cover of No Scrubs from TLC’s 1999 album FanMail.
Earlier this year she made her US debut at SXSW, and will play her first ever one-man live show in Shinsaibashi, Osaka on September 12th.
