JILUKA get devilish with “fiery violet violence” in 6th EGM single ‘DeViLs’

JILUKA have just dropped their 6th EGM (Electro Gothic Metal) single ‘DeViLs’ (the “Vi” in the name signifying “6th”). The track will be available across streaming platforms in February. It releases with the tagline “JILUKA reaps all the world as a grim incarnation of Electro Gothic Metal !!”.

Another blistering track from the EGM pioneers, ‘DeViLs’ continues in the same hard hitting vein as previous releases. Working alongside sound engineer Jeff Dunne, the track is fast and punchy with some new sounds melding with the classic choral harmonies and face melting guitar. Following Ricko yelling “Can you satisfy me?” we’re blasted with an intense breakdown that feels like an audio strobe, and in classic JILUKA form, an even heavier breakdown comes shortly after.

The video, produced by unravel., mirrors that audio strobe effect with a visual onslaught of lights and lasers. Additionally, the concept colour of this single and video is purple, with the band describing it as “Fiery Violet Violence”. Sena’s new guitar from Netherlands based Red Layer Guitars quite literally shines here, with an illuminated pink light strip, on point with the video’s aesthetic.

Along with the video, JILUKA note:

“The year 2025 was truly a turbulent one for the band that launched its “EGM” (Electro × Gothic × Metal) and captured global attention.
It began with Asia tour alongside the world-renowned metal band JINJER, followed by 22 shows across the United States with Imminence, LANDMVRKS.
As headliners, they successfully completed a world tour spanning 24 locations worldwide, including Europe, Latin America, and Japan.
Amidst this whirlwind, JILUKA forged ahead with production on their latest release, the 6th EGM digital single :

Once again, world-renowned sound engineer Jeff Dunne joined the team, with VXIA who joined as a sound assisted trackmaker based on New York, while Italy’s OVERLOAD GUITARS and the Netherlands’ RED LAYER GUITARS contributed instrumental support.
This truly global lineup reflects JILUKA’s worldwide journey.
The resulting self-transcending masterpiece, EGM’s 6th release, is nothing short of “devilish work”.
The DeViL with 8 eyes knows no rest.”
