Idol music collective Hello! Project will release its entire recorded catalogue across music streaming services this Friday, February 13th.
A total of 1,378 tracks will be released at once, covering past and recent material from the organisation’s currently active acts. These include Morning Musume, ANGERME, Juice=Juice, Tsubaki Factory, BEYOOOOONDS, OCHA NORMA, Rosy Chronicle, and Hello Pro Kenshusei.
Friday’s bulk release, combined with the 1,841 songs added to streaming services since 2024, brings the total number of Hello! Project tracks available worldwide to 3,219. Platforms include Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, LINE MUSIC, and AWA.
The release forms part of the build-up to the “Hello! 30th Anniversary Project”, running from 2026 to 2028. While Hello! Project will reach its 30th anniversary in 2028, Morning Musume’s own 30th anniversary falls in 2027, based on the group’s name announcement on TV Tokyo’s talent search and variety programme ASAYAN on September 14th, 1997.
Hello! Project (ハロー!プロジェクト) acts as the umbrella name for Up-Front Promotion’s all-female idol groups and artists. Up-Front first used the name for the fan club of singer-songwriter Michiyo Heike and Morning Musume in 1999, before later adopting it as the wider collective brand.
Alongside the streaming rollout, Hello! Project has pre-opened a dedicated website. The site will roll out retrospective content covering the organisation’s history, celebrity-curated playlists, and interactive projects for fans over time.
The full catalogue will become available globally from midnight this Friday.
