Alt-rock band Am Amp have revealed their latest music video, ‘HELP’, from their EP ‘Here we (Am).’. The video dropped on August 3rd; the band’s official start of their second chapter.
‘HELP’ is a high octane rock track, written by vocalist Sugar and bassist Motoharu Yazawa. The lyrics center around themes of love, lust, and forgiveness; Sugar repeating “I haven’t forgiven you, I still haven’t forgiven you. Give me, give me time”.
The accompanying video depicts Sugar and Yazawa in a toxic relationship; going from Yazawa appearing as an obsessive stalker, to the duo being lovers, Sugar discovering Yazawa’s secret photographs, to attempted murder.
On the same day, Am Amp officially kickstarted their second chapter, following their short hiatus back in March, with a free live show at Spotify O-WEST. The concert is their first with the current lineup, and also celebrates the band’s 3rd anniversary. Shortly afterwards, the band shared a live video of ‘HELP’ from the show.
