Luv PARADE

Those familiar with mid 00’s VK should be no strangers to D’espairsRay. Their disbandment in 2011, due to vocalist Hizumi’s deteriorating health, left fans devastated. ZERO and TSUKASA went on to form THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S, while Karyu joined VK supergroup Angelo. Fast forward to 2022, where 3 of the original D’espairsRay members restarted Luv PARADE. Originally formed in 2009, the group started out as a D’espairsRay cover band to help Hizumi rest his vocals. Karyu (guitar), ZERO (bass), and TSUKASA (drums) reunited, along with TAKA (vocals) of defspiral. In 2023 the group released their first original song ‘NEW WORLD’, and held a one-man live on the same day- September 9th, the anniversary of D’espairsRay’s formation. Whilst defspiral and THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S are still together, it is uncertain how frequent Luv PARADE’s activities will be, but here’s hoping we get to see much more from this supergroup-lite.
