The BONEZ

The BONEZ are a Japanese rock band made up of vocalist and guitarist JESSE of RIZE, bassist T$UYO$HI and drummer ZAX of Pay money To my Pain, and guitarist KOKI. They began on November 11th 2012 as JESSE and The BONEZ, growing out of JESSE’s multi-entertainment project Stand Up!, and took the name The BONEZ in 2013.

Original guitarist ZUZU left in 2013 and was replaced by former RIZE guitarist NAKA, who stayed until 2019. KOKI, who had played with the band as a support guitarist since 2020, became a full member in April 2022. Their releases include the albums ‘Astronaut’ (2014), ‘To a person that may save someone’ (2016), ‘WOKE’ (2018), and ‘Yours’ (2023), plus the mini-album ‘LAB’ (2022).

For their 10th anniversary, The BONEZ toured all 47 prefectures across 2023 and 2024, finishing with SUNTOWN at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in April 2024. Later that year they toured Japan with Dragon Ash on the joint Straight Up Tour, and went on to release ‘So Fucking What’ (2025) and ‘IMAGINATION’ (2026). After pausing live shows in early 2026 while JESSE recovered from injury, they returned that August and played their second arena headline show, SUNTOWN -THE SECOND-, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO on November 3rd 2026.
