ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION 30th Anniversary Concerts

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION will open their 30th anniversary year with a series of special concerts beginning April 2026.

Formed in Yokohama in 1996, the four-piece — Masafumi Gotoh, Kensuke Kita, Takahiro Yamada and Kiyoshi Ijichi — are one of Japan’s most recognised alternative rock bands, celebrating three decades together in 2026. The anniversary programme begins with a pre-concert club show in Sapporo before continuing with the two-night arena event “Thirty Revolutions” at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. The band will then perform a special overseas concert in Jakarta alongside guest acts [Alexandros] and Indonesian rock band THE ADAMS.

The title “Thirty Revolutions” references the RPM (revolutions per minute) used for analogue records, symbolising the band’s three decades of activity.
