Formed in Yokohama in 1996, the four-piece — Masafumi Gotoh, Kensuke Kita, Takahiro Yamada, and Kiyoshi Ijichi — are one of Japan’s most recognised alternative rock bands. They rose to prominence in the 2000s with albums such as ‘Kimi Tsunagi Five M’ and ‘Sol-fa’, while songs including ‘Haruka Kanata’ (Naruto) and ‘Rewrite’ (Fullmetal Alchemist) introduced their music to a global audience. In 2026 the band celebrate their 30th anniversary with new releases including ‘Fujieda EP’ and the single ‘Skins’, the opening theme for the final cour of Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE.
The anniversary tour currently includes concerts in Mexico City, Lima, and Santiago.
