NMEO presents UK-Japan Creative Exchange

NMEO presents UK-Japan Creative Exchange opens the CUEW Showcase Series at The Cluny in Newcastle, marking the first stop on the visiting Japanese delegation’s UK trip. The evening sits within a year-long exchange programme run by the Northern Music Export Office (led by Generator) in partnership with PRS Foundation, designed to build long-term creative and commercial relationships between UK and Japanese artists, managers and labels rather than one-off showcase activity.

Momoko Iwasaki and showmore headline, with the artists performing material developed through the exchange itself, blending scenes, sounds and ideas across borders. The event also marks the first ever international showcase by CUEW Showcase & Conference, with Newcastle confirmed as the debut stop of their wider UK tour.

Free entry, with reservations available via Eventbrite.
