YUKI CHIBA Blue Note Live

Yuki Chiba will make his debut at Blue Note Tokyo this December, following a landmark year that saw him headline the Budokan and release 3 new albums, including his latest ‘Eien’ (‘Eternity’), produced by Hiroto Taniguchi. Known for tracks such as the viral ‘Team Tomodachi’ and his international collaboration ‘MAMUSHI’ with Megan Thee Stallion, Chiba continues to extend his reach beyond Japan’s hip-hop scene.

For this special night featuring 2 back-to-back shows, he will perform songs from ‘Eien’ in new arrangements, joined by his Budokan band: Hiroto Taniguchi (guitar, keyboard), Risako Oshima (violin), and HÖMiE (piano, keyboard). Appearing as a guest is Ryo Takaiwa, Chiba’s partner in the newly formed duo Nijiz, whose debut improvised blues album ‘Indigo Blue’ was released on September 10th.

Blue Note Tokyo is one of the city’s most renowned jazz clubs. Since opening in 1988 as the sister venue to the original Blue Note in New York, it has hosted leading artists from jazz and beyond, and is recognised as a landmark of Tokyo nightlife.
