About the venue

The Wiltern is a historic Art Deco theatre and live-music venue in Los Angeles' Koreatown, at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue. It opened on 7 October 1931 as Warner Bros. Western Theatre at the base of the distinctive green-tiled Pellissier Building. The complex is celebrated for its Art Deco architecture, ornamented auditorium and prominent marquee. After closing in 1979 and facing demolition, the theatre was saved through a landmark preservation campaign and reopened following restoration in 1985.

Now operated by Live Nation, The Wiltern stages concerts and other live entertainment in a flexible, tiered auditorium. The main floor can be configured for general-admission standing, with fixed seating in the loge and mezzanine; published capacity is approximately 2,300 standing or 1,850 seated. The venue is opposite the Wilshire/Western Metro station. Visitors should check the official venue website for show-specific entry, accessibility and ticketing information.
