Hardcore thug troop SAND released their 4th album DEATH TO SHEEPLE across Europe and the US via Amazon and Spotify.
Shaped by the sounds of New York hardcore, SAND have been at the forefront of Japan’s underground hardcore scene since forming in 1999, hell bent on the destruction on societies’ novel rules and values. In 2013 the “infamous Asian hardcore tyrants” (their words, not mine) joined PIZZA OF DEATH‘s line-up for the release of their 3rd album Spit on authority, and in the same year made their European debut appearance while on tour with Belgium’s NASTY.
This year we saw them make a break for American soil yet again to play Philadelphia’s THIS IS HARDCORE Festival alongside Misfits, H2O, the Exploited, and more, tour the East Coast, as well as drop DEATH TO SHEEPLE, SAND’s latest f**k you to the world.
In September SAND invited Southampton boys Desolated to join them on a Japan tour, which might mean we’ll be seeing Osaka’s roughest lot take to our shores in the years to come.
