Experimental black metal unit Vampillia will hit the UK as part of their first European tour in three years.
Labeling themselves as a “brutal orchestra”, this Osaka born 11-piece harmonise savage and gentle sounds using guitar, piano, bass, strings, twin drums, and a whole lot of noise, with influences deriving from traditional opera and jazz to Mongolian overtone singing. Since forming in 2005 the band has won over crowds across the globe with their chaotic and eccentric live shows, sharing stages with the likes of MELT-BANANA, Boris, toe, and many more.
In March they played headline shows across Australlia, and in April dropped their latest EP my heart will go on which they call a “huge middle finger to the egoistic motherfuckers who grow powerful all over the world”.
Vampillia will join French hardcore band Celeste for their London show with more details on their Leeds performance still to be announced.
