Takeru teams with MAMA. and CHAQLA. for ‘FXXK YOUR FEELINGS’ as ‘BIBLE’ album arrives

Takeru (ex-SuG), MAMA., and CHAQLA have unveiled their collaborative track titled ‘FXXK YOUR FEELINGS’. The song was revealed on June 27th in the form of a mix containing all 3 versions, titled ‘FXXK YOUR FEELINGS FUSION REMIX’, while the individual versions began releasing on July 10th.

The ‘FUSION REMIX’ was first version, revealed a day before the Takeru, MAMA., and CHAQLA. 3 man live at Shibuya’s Chelsea Hotel on June 28th. Each act then released their solo versions from July 10th across 3 consecutive days, starting with Takeru, then MAMA. on July 11th, and CHAQLA. on July 12th.

Each track holds onto the same structure, but showcases the artists’ individual styles and lyricism. Takeru’s version blends sounds from pop, electronic, rap, and nu-metal, while retaining the core sound he’s been nurturing since his current project’s debut. Meanwhile, the MAMA. version has an unnerving and overall darker undertone, and a more guitar heavy sound. Last but not least, the CHAQLA. version shows off their relentless, frenetic style, including a breakdown fit for 2-stepping and a chorus that invites the image of swirling towels at a show.

The videos are all shot with the same background, but each with different vibes that match with the artists’ individual styles. Every video also features a decorated toilet, with members clutching at it and vomiting into it.

On top of the solo releases, the stem data from the song will be distributed allowing anyone to remix ‘FXXK YOUR FEELINGS’. Details for this are expected at a later date.

All of this came just ahead of Takeru’s first full album, ‘BIBLE’, which released today, July 14th. The album was born from sessions with artists from around the world, including India, Thailand, and the UK. Takeru noted that it’s a culmination of everything leading up to his 18th anniversary as a musical artist, as well as referring to it as his “life’s bible”. ‘BIBLE’ features Takeru’s version of ‘FXXK YOUR FEELINGS’, along with previous singles.
