ATLUS has released an official music video for ‘It’s Going Down Now’, the chart-topping battle theme from Persona 3 Reload. It marks ATLUS’ first venture into officially produced music videos for its game music.
The track, performed by Lotus Juice and Azumi Takahashi, with lyrics by Lotus Juice, first appeared on the Persona 3 Reload soundtrack in February 2024. In-game, it plays during preemptive encounters with Shadows inside Tartarus, the multi-level dungeon at the heart of the story. Beyond the game, the song has become a breakout success, surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify, earning a nomination for Top Global Hit From Japan at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025, and holding the No.1 spot on the Billboard charts for two weeks earlier this year.
The video brings together live-action performance footage with in-game visuals of key locations such as Gekkoukan High School and Tartarus. It also includes newly produced animation created specifically for the project. In addition to Lotus Juice and Azumi Takahashi, the video features guitarist Toshiki Konishi of the ATLUS Sound Team and dancers Hinata Matsumoto, Ayumi Miyazaki, and YU JURRY, all of whom have performed at Persona Live concerts.

Directed by Takuya Oyama (VANLI) and produced by Koichi Iwamoto at P.I.C.S., the project connects the stylised world of Persona 3 Reload with performance-led visuals, hinting at ATLUS’ broader ambitions for how it presents its music.
The video arrives ahead of the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Persona 3 Reload, set to release on October 23rd 2025. The game will be available physically and digitally, with a Digital Deluxe Edition (featuring a digital artbook and soundtrack app) and a Digital Premium Edition that includes all DLC content.
The video is now available on the ATLUS GAME MUSIC YouTube channel.
