Visual kei alternative rock band DEZERT have revealed their upcoming double A-side single ‘[Hibana] / [Musyusei]’. It will contain 3 tracks, and is set to be released on December 24th. This will be the band’s 1st major-label single, released via Tokuma Japan Communications.
The band recently uploaded a trailer for the single to YouTube, with previews of each of the 3 songs. ‘[Hibana]’ (‘Spark’), originally released back in October, features the melodic rock sound DEZERT have become known for, and is the insert song for drama Ningen Hyohon (Human Specimens). The second track, ‘My Unhappy Life’, adds a pinch of the band’s early nu-metal style into the mix, and lastly ‘[Musyusei]’ (‘Unaltered’) brings a sweetly peppy vibe.
Additionally, DEZERT will wrap up their massive 47-prefecture tour, DEZERT 47 AREA ONEMAN TOUR, with a landmark show at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The show, subtitled Bokura no ongaku ni tsuite (About Our Music), will take place on March 20th 2026.
‘[Hibana] / [Musyusei]’ is available for pre-order now from CDJapan, and comes in two editions; regular, and “Limited Uncensored” edition. The limited version features live footage, including from their This Is The “VISUAL” show at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in March, an M card containing the Ningen Hyohon collaboration movie for ‘[Hibana]’, and a sticker sheet. The regular version also comes with a sticker sheet.
