Two-MC mixture rock duo EMNW have released their major-label debut digital single, ‘LOVING TO GET US BY’, through Sony Music Labels. Emma and Menu premiered the track at the sold-out final of their GOOD VIBES ONLY JAPAN TOUR 2026 at LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo on June 15th, closing a 25-date tour across Japan in support of their self-titled debut album, which arrived in March.
Officially released on July 31st, ‘LOVING TO GET US BY’ is produced by Sam Matlock, co-vocalist and guitarist in London electro-punk duo WARGASM, who has previously worked with Japanese acts including WACK unit ASP. Seitaro Shishido and Kuboty share the music credit with Matlock, while Charlie Russell, whose credits include Jamiroquai and Kasabian, handled mixing and additional production.
‘LOVING TO GET US BY’ pushes EMNW’s rap metal and nu metal template further, switching between English and Japanese across its hooks.
The single follows the duo’s first overseas headline dates. In May 2026 they completed the TO KAMASU UK TOUR 2026, selling out The Black Heart in London and reaching capacity at both of their appearances at The Great Escape in Brighton, before playing Jakarta and Hammersonic Festival 2026.

Elsewhere, EMNW guested as rappers on ‘CURRY Tabetai feat. Soy Sauce’, a collaboration between ORANGE RANGE and House Foods, and present a regular radio programme on Saitama’s NACK5. On August 14th they open the Spotify Stage on the first day of SUMMER SONIC 2026 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
EMNW also used their LIQUIDROOM finale to announce a new nationwide tour, the EMNW To KAMASU “LOVING TO GET US BY” TOUR 2026, which opens in Niigata on October 31st and finishes at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on December 3rd.

About EMNW
EMNW are a Japanese nu-metal and mixture-rock duo formed in March 2024 by Yokohama-born Emma and Menu from Okinawa. Working from the outset with producer and former TOTALFAT guitarist Kuboty, the pair combine nu-metal and rap metal with punk, ska, and hip-hop, trading vocals and rap parts across a sound they have framed as part of a "Reiwa-era mixture revolution". Often described in official Japanese profiles through the contrast of "cute looks × ferocious sound", EMNW have appeared on the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, toured across the UK and Asia, sold out shows at The Black Heart in London and Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo, and opened the Spotify Stage at SUMMER SONIC 2026. Their cover of Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin'' also caught the attention of Fred Durst, who shared the duo with his followers and has remained in contact with them. After releasing their self-titled debut album in March 2026, EMNW made their major-label debut through Sony Music Labels with 'LOVING TO GET US BY'. Recorded in London with WARGASM's Sam Matlock and mixer Charlie Russell, the single reflected the duo's increasingly international ambitions.
