Nu-metal supergroup Petit Brabancon have launched a five-part “Bootleg Series” featuring live footage and audio from their Tour 2026 “If You Just Stare Then Headbang or Die” show at Nagoya DIAMOND HALL on March 22nd. The series will roll out over five consecutive months, with Vol.1 available to order now.
Rather than a conventional DVD, Blu-ray, or live album, each instalment pairs physical merchandise with digital content from the Nagoya show. Buyers receive merchandise overseen by one of the band members alongside a card containing a unique serial number, which unlocks live video and audio, exclusive tour photos, and entry to an advance ticket lottery for Petit Brabancon’s next performance.
Tour 2026 “If You Just Stare Then Headbang or Die” at Nagoya Bootleg Series Vol.1 features performances of ‘dub driving’, ‘OBEY’, and previously unreleased song ‘EVIL DEAD 4’. All three performances can be streamed online but not downloaded, while the corresponding live audio can be streamed or downloaded as MP3 files. The recordings use 2-mix audio taken directly from the venue’s PA system, preserving the raw feel of the performance.
Vol.1 comes with a black T-shirt created in collaboration with TECH 21 and overseen by Petit Brabancon bassist Hirofumi Takamatsu, who also plays in THE NOVEMBERS. The design is based on TECH 21’s SansAmp Bass Driver DI, which Takamatsu uses in his own bass setup, with Petit Brabancon branding worked into the pedal artwork. The shirt is available in M, L, and XL.

Each of the five volumes will feature different performances and photographs, with a different band member overseeing the merchandise for each release. Petit Brabancon plans to end access to the streamed video and audio, as well as the MP3 download links, during December 2027.
Orders for Vol.1 opened on August 17th at ¥11,000. Customers outside Japan must provide a Japanese shipping address, with the official store confirming that an address supplied by a Japan-based package-forwarding service can be used.
The five-part “Bootleg Series” arrives as Petit Brabancon head towards their fifth anniversary, having made their live debut at Nippon Budokan in December 2021.
About Petit Brabancon
Petit Brabancon are a five-piece metal supergroup bringing together vocalist Kyo (DIR EN GREY), drummer yukihiro (L’Arc-en-Ciel), guitarist Miya (MUCC), guitarist antz (Tokyo Shoegazer), and bassist Hirofumi Takamatsu (THE NOVEMBERS). The band grew out of Kyo approaching yukihiro about working together, eventually developing into a full group built around musicians with decades of experience across Japan’s rock and metal scene. Petit Brabancon made their first live appearance at Nippon Budokan in December 2021, the same month they released their debut digital single 'Koku / Kawaki'. At the centre of Petit Brabancon is a shared love of the heavier music of the 1990s, particularly nu-metal, pushed through the individual styles of all five members. The band themselves have used the word "extreme" to describe what they set out to create. Their debut album 'Fetish' arrived in August 2022, followed by EPs 'Automata' in 2023 and 'Seven Garbage Born of Hatred' in 2024. Live performance has remained a major part of the project, with successive tours giving the band room to push their music into a rougher and more physical form. In 2026, Petit Brabancon returned with 'haunted house', first shared with fans attending their Tour 2026 "If You Just Stare Then Headbang or Die" before receiving a full digital release in April.
