Age Factory have teamed up with Tbilisi-based artist Anton Reva (savemymind) on music videos for ‘Vein’ and ‘ERROR’, the two tracks from their April single. Filmed on foot around Tokyo, the two videos premiered on the band’s YouTube channel at 21:00 JST on October 2nd. Both arrive ahead of Age Factory’s first-ever Nippon Budokan show in November.
A mixed-media artist and creative director, Reva has spent more than 13 years moving between analogue and digital techniques across photography and video. He has worked on projects for Nike, UNIQLO, Adobe, Apple, and Givenchy, and created visuals and cover artwork for Post Malone, Brent Faiyaz, Troye Sivan, Omar Apollo, and Tohji. His Post Malone work includes a design credit on the 2019 single ‘Goodbyes’ featuring Young Thug.

Reva traces the first film, ‘Vein’, back to his walks through Tokyo, particularly around Ebisu and towards Shibuya, where small details of the city “constantly provoke something in my imagination”. “We approached the shoot in the same spirit – walking through the city together with almost no preparation or additional tools, simply following what we encountered”, he said.
‘ERROR’ deals with emotional pressure and the urge to escape your own thoughts. “One of my starting references was the familiar image of exhausted office workers asleep on the streets of Shibuya after a night out”, Reva explained. “Beyond its everyday reality, I saw something strangely romantic in this image – a person overwhelmed by the pressures of a system, yet still carrying an inner world, a capacity for love, imagination and creativity”.
Written for THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE, a film directed by Fumiya Arimitsu and starring Ryota Bando, ‘Vein / ERROR’ came out on April 15th through the band’s own label, 0A. ‘Vein’ is the film’s theme song and ‘ERROR’ an insert song. Played back to back, the two tracks form one continuous piece that shifts from a drum and bass approach to acoustic textures.
Bassist Naoto Nishiguchi mixed and mastered the single under his nerdwitchkomugichan alias. Alongside it, the band surprise-released ‘AGE FACTORY REMIXES 2026’, on which ten acts including tofubeats, imai (group_inou), Yohji Igarashi, and lil soft tennis rework songs from their back catalogue.

The premiere also falls on the last Japanese date of the band’s release tour for the single, a one-man show at Sendai Rensa. The tour opened in Kagoshima on May 27th and ends with a return to Taipei on October 18th.
Launched in 2021, Age Factory’s twilight series swaps their usual setlists for older and rarely played songs. The 2024 edition at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall went ahead in torrential rain after a typhoon had put the show in doubt. This year’s show at Nippon Budokan has sold out.

About Age Factory
Age Factory are a three-piece rock band from Nara, Japan, made up of Eisuke Shimizu (vocals/guitar), Naoto Nishiguchi (bass/backing vocals), and Nakato Mashiko (drums/backing vocals). Formed in 2010, they settled on their current lineup in 2014 and remain based in their hometown. Shimizu has named 1990s US emo and fellow Nara band LOSTAGE among his biggest influences, and LOSTAGE's Takahisa Gomi produced their first album, 'LOVE'. Their albums include 'LOVE' (2016), 'GOLD' (2018), 'EVERYNIGHT' (2020), 'Pure Blue' (2021), 'Songs' (2024), and 'Sono nanika in my daze' (2025). Shimizu has described the 2019 single 'CLOSE EYE' as influenced by hip-hop in his own way, and YDIZZY and lil soft tennis both feature on 'Sono nanika in my daze'. From 'Songs' onwards, the band have mixed and mastered their own records, with Nishiguchi working under the name nerdwitchkomugichan. They have also written for film, including 'First day song' (2022) for Kenji Shibayama's Ima wa Chotto, Tsuitenai dake and 'Vein / ERROR' (2026) for THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE. In 2025, Age Factory launched the independent label and creative collective 0A, which handles their releases and visual direction and represents stylists, designers, photographers, and other artists. Since 2021 they have run twilight, a live series that swaps their usual setlists for older and rarely played songs.
