SiM have announced their seventh full-length album ‘HOOMAN AFTER ALL’, set for release on September 2nd via UNFD, alongside a sprawling world tour and a brand new single featuring HANABIE. frontwoman Yukina. The Shonan four-piece revealed the news on May 21st, the same day as their one-off London headline show, ahead of their appearance at Slam Dunk Festival 2026.
‘BLiNDEYES’ is SiM’s second consecutive monthly single release, following April’s ‘FiVE TiMES DEAD (by my wallet)’, and marks their first collaboration with HANABIE. vocalist Yukina. The two acts have been circling each other for over a year, with HANABIE. playing SiM’s DEAD POP FESTiVAL for the first time in 2025 and SiM appearing at HANABIE.’s Daikaiho Festival 2026 at KT Zepp Yokohama earlier this month.

“We are so pumped to announce that our new album HOOMAN AFTER ALL drops September 2”, said frontman MAH. “This album is our full on tribute to the prime era of rock from the late ’90s to early 2000s. It feels fresh, but at the same time, there’s this weird nostalgia running through it. We’re taking this album all over the world, so get ready. See you in the pit!”
On the new single, he added: “‘Mou sumimasen deha sumimasen’ means ‘Your apology won’t fix this anymore’. Yukina added the perfect spice to my rage track. Can’t wait to tear it up live!”
The 12-track record features further guest spots from HEY-SMITH on ‘The Sniffling Cats Ska’ and coldrain’s Masato on ‘ZiON’. “Hooman” refers to slang for humans from the viewpoint of pets, while the album artwork features MAH holding his beloved Maine Coon. Speaking from the stage at SiM’s London headline show, MAH told the crowd that the new album “is about his cats”, tying the record’s title, artwork and feline references together.
The accompanying “HOOMAN AFTER ALL” WORLD TOUR kicks off in Japan in September before heading to North America across October and November, then wrapping with a UK and European run in early 2027. Tickets and VIP packages are on sale now.
