STARKIDS

STARKIDS are a six-member music unit based in Tokyo, emerging during the peak of the hyperpop craze in the early 2020s. Their genre-fluid approach blends elements of eurobeat, happy hardcore-inspired EDM, and hard-hitting trap and hip hop. The group—comprised of Space Boy, BENXNI, TAHITI, levi, espeon, and ROAR—pair high-energy instrumentals with a mix of catchy pop melodies and rap verses in both English and Japanese. Their distinctive style has gained attention both in the Tokyo live music scene and online.

In addition to their music, STARKIDS have established their own collective and label, guntai9, which has become a hub for global talent. Their taglines, “Forever Stars, Forever Kids” and “Time to Shine with the 9”, reflect their aspirations for international recognition. With a growing presence on stage and in the studio, STARKIDS continue to expand their reach while maintaining a strong connection to their Tokyo roots.
