HEY-SMITH Sound & Air Conditioning Boost GIG – U☆STONE, Otsu – 2 November 2026

HEY-SMITH will return to Shiga U☆STONE for the specially organised Onkyou Kuuchou Bakuage GIG, or Sound & Air Conditioning Boost GIG, with proceeds from the concert being donated towards improvements to the live house’s air conditioning and sound system.

The idea came from HEY-SMITH’s previous U☆STONE appearance on their ALL OVER JAPAN TOUR. Guitarist and vocalist Shuhei Igari said conditions became so hot and airless during the show that his hands and feet began cramping, leaving him feeling that it was no longer an environment in which the band could perform properly.

Rather than stop playing the venue, Igari proposed returning for another concert and using its proceeds to help improve the conditions. He said upgrading the air conditioning was the priority, with the band also asking U☆STONE to improve its sound system as much as possible.

HEY-SMITH have stressed that one show is unlikely to pay for everything the venue needs, but hope the fundraiser can help make conditions better for future performances.

A guest band is still to be announced.

First-come, first-served ticket sales open through ePlus at 12:00 JST on September 6th.
