About the venue

Ippodromo delle Capannelle is a historic horse-racing complex and open-air concert venue in south-east Rome. First opened in 1881, the racecourse is owned by Roma Capitale and, as of 2026, managed by Zètema Progetto Cultura. Racing resumed in September 2026 following restoration and redevelopment work.

The venue has hosted the Rock in Roma concert festival since 2009 and accommodates several stage configurations depending on the event.

Capannelle railway station, served by the FL4 regional line, is approximately 700 metres from the concert venue, with trains from Roma Termini taking around nine minutes. Nearby bus services along Capannelle and Via Appia Nuova provide connections to Metro Line A.

Entrance gates, accessibility arrangements, parking, post-event train services and shuttle availability vary by event and should be confirmed with the organiser before travelling.
