The godfather of Japanese Trip-Hop, DJ Krush, will be heading to London on February 1st for a rare 3 hour set at the Kentish Town Forum, courtesy of SoundCrash. DJ Krush is known for his famous re-branding of the Hip-Hop genre, with the use of dark, atmospheric, multi-textured beats, which strayed away from the fast scratch style commonly associated with turntablism. He focuses solely on the musicality that the medium offers. Since starting out in 1985, DJ Krush has become one of the most influential innovators in Hip-Hop, and has changed people’s perceptions of the genre forever! This is sure to be a truly unmissable event for all turntable enthusiasts, and music lovers alike, with one of the biggest legends in Hip-Hop history!
