Japan’s biggest ska group (in more ways than one) will be coming to London this July as part of their upcoming European tour!
This 9-piece triumph have been stirring up trouble since the late 1980s where they found their footing in the Tokyo street/club scene and rose through the ranks with their one of a kind performances. TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA’s unique blend of numerous musical genres they call “Tokyo Ska” has taken the band across the globe, performing at some of the world’s most acclaimed festivals including Mexico’s Vive Latino, California’s Coachella, and even the UK’s own Glastonbury Festival as well as their own headline shows.
Their 2014 album ‘Ska Me Forever’ saw the band join forces with the frontmen of top Japanese rock acts 10-FEET, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, MONGOL800 and master DJ, Fantastic Plastic Machine, for some of our favourite tracks yesteryear, managing to score the #5 spot on the Oricon weekly album chart upon the album’s release.
Now fans across Europe have their chance to join the party with TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA as they take to some of the continent’s biggest Reggae and Jazz festivals and venues in Poland, Belgium, Spain and the UK starting July 13th!
