Touring the UK for the first time, HER NAME IN BLOOD joined German electronicore unit Eskimo Callboy for shows in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and London.

Hot on the heels of a mammoth performance at KNOTFEST JAPAN earlier this month, this Tokyo based metal outfit laid down a ferocious set of back to back fast-paced and fist-pumping headbangers, with the whole band making quick work of winning the crowd over by delivering tons of metal guitar licks, full-body basslines, and punchy drums.

Along with frontman Ikepy who dominated the stage with his thunderous vocals that switch between harsh guttural growls and tuneful dramatic howls on a dime, reminiscent of Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach or Anders Fridén of In Flames.

In the last few years we’ve seen a number of Japan’s powerhouses in metal and metalcore make their way to UK venues, and like the bands before them, HER NAME IN BLOOD have shown they have the skill to make waves on the UK gig circuit. They’ve gauged the audience, now it’s just a matter of when they’ll be back for round 2.
