Fujii Kaze has released the music video for ‘Casket Girl’, the opening track from his third studio album ‘Prema’. The video premiered on YouTube on November 28th, arriving after a brief teaser circulated earlier in the week
Directed by Charles Mehling, whose previous work includes projects for The Rolling Stones and Liam Gallagher, the video carries forward the retro aesthetic seen across Kaze’s recent visuals. It switches between a 1970s-style TV performance, where Kaze appears with a full band and dancers in a studio setup modelled on early-70s music programmes, and a second strand that follows him and a woman driving a red Ford Galaxie convertible marked “HWY2 HELL” along deserted roads, filmed with the same period look.
