Gyaru group LOALO MODELS back Japan with unofficial World Cup song ‘BLUE DREAM’

Gyaru magazine model group LOALO MODELS have released ‘BLUE DREAM’, an unofficial support song for Japan at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The music video dropped on June 11th, the opening day of the tournament, and it hits streaming platforms on June 16th.

‘BLUE DREAM’ cheers Japan on with everything the genre calls for; peppy, high energy, and chantable lyrics. Vocalists Fukitisu, Metiyoro, Piko, and el rally behind the team with lines like “Make blue dream come true!”, written by PONTSUYO.

Some commenters reckon the unofficial track outdoes the official ones, and that might owe something to its composer, Naoki Ito, who also wrote ‘Nevereverland’ by NANO, a song that has racked up over 10 million views.

The bright, playful music video was filmed at SAL SPORTS PARK in Ryugasaki, Ibaraki prefecture. It features the four vocalists alongside extras Tsuna and Fi-chan, plus members of gyaru circle L-DORADO. The group go from being in a small football field, to a massive football stadium, showing a dream become a reality.

LOALO also shared a video of the models and gyarusa facing off in a competitive “East vs West” 5-a-side tournament.

About LOALO MODELS

LOALO MODELS come from LOALO magazine, a Japanese gyaru gravure tanning magazine distributed in shops and tanning salons across Japan. The group also run a gyaru makeover salon in the heart of Shibuya, managed by Fukitisu. ‘BLUE DREAM’ isn’t their first foray into music, with debut single ‘Summer on my Mind feat. SLOTH’ arriving back in 2022. They have released several singles since, including ‘GOLD’ and ‘Go Go Race Dream’, featuring Eurobeat icons Dave Rodgers and Domino respectively, with Dave writing both tracks. Their previous single ‘Malatan Shika Katan’ landed in May this year, also written and produced by Dave Rodgers and Kaioh, Dave and Domino’s son.
