Hitsujibungaku have announced their first European tour during their UK debut at Hyper Japan on Saturday, July 19th. The Tokyo-based trio confirmed they will return to London this October, with other cities to be announced.
Saturday’s edition of Hyper Japan, the UK’s largest celebration of Japanese culture, sold out the Kensington Olympia, with Hitsujibungaku emerging as the biggest pull of the weekend’s music programme.
The European tour follows their successful US tour earlier this year and continues the band’s rapid international rise, fuelled by their anime tie-ins like ‘more than words’ (Jujutsu Kaisen) and ‘Burning’ (Oshi no Ko), and their atmospheric blend of dream pop, grunge, and shoegaze.
Tour dates and venues will be announced soon.
